One for the dumb question department, I just noticed that Sharpening is on in Phocus on my Mac. I thought that I had it turned off. Taking a quick look, it seems fairly mild and I haven't seen it cause any problems when I use Photokit in PS. Am I right in assuming that it is light by default?

Hi Jeff

Phocus seems to apply a default of Amount 100 Radius 1.0.

I always zero sharpening in Phocus. I've created a Preset which I call 'None' and the first thing I do when working on a file and before Export is to apply this Preset. I'm probably being particularly thick but as yet I haven't discovered a way to set my Preset as the default.

Perhaps the 'Enlightened Ones' can, well, enlighten us?

Set Phocus completely the way you want it, including your preferred sharpening than save it as a 'Lay-out' (under windows, layout, edit.). In the preferences you can tell Phocus with which Layout it needs to start under what circumstances (Cf card, Tethered or launch).

Yep!  Just make sure you have all the boxes ticked on the right hand side in the Layout editor.
