Film Backs

hi everyone need some advice that I can follow!!! I have a 907, using some H lenses with adapter but I want the flexibility to run some film through now and then. I have a 120/220 magazine which I had with my H6 but didn't use it a lot because of the issue when I took off the digital back in the field and I put on the film back there would always be some dust on the sensor when I put the digital back on. This systems is fantastic for those in studios or occasionally on location but I live practically outdoors and so didn't work for me. So my option is:

1. buy a good 500, 503 with two film backs - but will the H system lenses work with the adapter?
2. Persevere with the 120/220 back

You say that H film back should work on the 907X digital body ? 🤣

H lenses adapter on V bodies don't exist.

Only V lenses adapter on H bodies

Thanks for taking the time to read, and sorry for the incorrect info:

1. I am using a HX converter for my 907 with my H 24, 50 and 100 mm lenses.
2. I have a H Film back which I used on my H6 (drowned in the Seychelles) so only the H film back remains unscathed from original system. since the back and 907 are in 2 different locations I cannot even be sure if they fit.
3. I want to know if I should buy a 500 series or (other) body that can use as much of the above system or if the H film back will fit the 907 and I should persevere with that.

Your H film back can only fit to an H body

When buying a V camera H lenses will not fit and you will have to add also V lenses

Most convenient solution for you would be finding a second hand H body for film, a guess you know that the HCD24 isn't for film !

Best solution is to get another H series body.

You can't use the film backs on the 907x, and you can't use H lenses on the V system bodies.

it sounds like you want to use 907 and film (every now and then?) I am not sure how the H fits in there
H lenses fit on 907 but there is no film back for that solution
V lenses fit on 907, CVF50II fits on V bodies, V bodies are made for film
sounds like the best solution is to get rid of everything H
buy a 500/503/....and some lenses
buy some X lenses
I don't see any advantage to build around existing H stuff which does not help you for film or digital.
