Title: Can I use my H2 body (not H2D) with HD2 digital back ?

Hello

I have Hasselblad H2 body, it has used with Phase one P25 long time and no issues and good worked.

But recently I bought H2D DB only for using with my H2 body.

However, My H2 body LCD show " not compatible" after attached H2D DB with my H2 body.

anyone advise me how can i use H2 body with H2D Digital Back.

Please help me

As far as I know, you cannot use that back on a H2. The interface does not support this kind of back.

In 2010 I had the shutter on my H3D body fail.

I needed to send it to HB. I kept the back, taped all the contacts and mounted it on my H1 body, synchronizing it with a short flash sync cable, which then was the only electrical connection between the two components.

I did at least three shootings in the studio with the HC100 at f/2.2 and focus was spot on.

Power for the camera body came from the battery grip whilst power for the back came from the tethering cable.

AFAIK Hasselblad offers also a service to convert non-digital bodies into digital spare bodies, but this is an economical question. I remember something like 1.500,- EUR for that.
