You are aware that you can use extension tubes with the HTS yes?

I think I had the same wish a while ago ;) My solution was the same Nick suggested. You can find some samples in my online portfolio at

If you browse "products" there are 2 shots of jewelery with H3D II 39 and 120 HC macro and 2 with same back with HTS 13mm extension and HC 100.

But will extension tubes give the same image quality as the the 120 at close distances?
It could be quite nice with a tilt extension tube - at close distances and long focal length the tilt could be nice, there wouldn't even be any needs to use any glas, since it is for close distances.
