Hi,
I recently purchased a Hasselblad 503CX and a Hasselblad 907X 50C. While setting them up together, I noticed that I'm unable to achieve correct focus. Visually, everything appears sharp on the focusing screen of the 503CX, but the resulting digital image captured by the 907X 50C is slightly off.
I'm unsure if this is a known issue when pairing these two systems or if it's related to calibration, such as the focusing screen being out of alignment.
I'd really appreciate your help in identifying the cause of this issue and understanding whether any adjustments (like shimming the focusing screen) are necessary.
Looking forward to your insight.
Best regards,
No, no shimming of the fousing screen, thats not the way to adjust it. If it needs calibration only let a Hasselblad trained technician do it.
The Zeiss lenses have an infinity stop. If you take a picture of a (very) far away object with the lens at infinity, do you get a sharp picture? If yes, does the focus indicator (e.g. split image) agree with that? Which screen do you use?
