With the new Fuji GFX100RF announcement, will you add the camera to complement your Hasselblad kit?
Not for me. I use my 55V vastly more than my 38V. If it were 55 I'd be tempted. I'm not worried about a few grams to get my 55V, IBIS a better 1.0 EVF mag and 1TB of ultra fast storage.
I applaud what Fuji's done here and I hope it does well. We need more interesting cameras. Too many boring black boxes on the market now.
If the V2 has IBIS I can see K wanting one. It's her preferred focal length. Just not mine.

Not for me. At this price, j want to be able to change the lens.
I like using the X2D with the 38V. Since I already have this combination, I don't see any need to buy a GFX100RF. Yes, it would be a bit more compact, but it would only have an F4 instead of F2.5, no IBIS, no option to use a different lens, worse ergonomics, and that confusing Fuji menu.
I voted no but I believe it is a great marketing move by Fuji to go more up market. The X100 was very successful and, I think, they're trying to do the same with a higher segment of the market.
The x100 series was successful from the start, but it wasn't until the vi, which also received an Ibis, that the hype really took off.
So I don't understand why Fuji omitted the Ibis here, especially for a camera that's predestined for handheld shooting and a not-so-fast lens. You can screw an ND filter onto the lens afterward, but not an Ibis.
After all, the GFX100RF is cheaper than a Q3.
Nope. No handgrip.
I am not interested. The X1D II with the XCD wide angle lenses such as the 28P or the 45P are only a little bit heavier, and its wonderful handgrip and ergonomics can't be compared with those of the GFX100RF, bad handling and full of buttons and menu options. In addition, you can change lens when you like with the Hassy.
So, not for me !
P.S. And I don't like Fuji rendering and colours.... Plus you have IBIS on the X2D.
No
Is there a market for non interchangeable MF cameras?
I like the idea of a light and portable MF fixed lens camera but I have no idea what the target buyer would be for that camera as it has a lot of strange functions and dials which I would do in post like cropping, format ratio and LUTS (film simulation) but they did not find space for IBIS. IBIS is in my opinion absolutely necessary for 100MP (the reason I did not upgrade to the 907X100C but to the X2D).
One technology which would be perfect for a fixed lens camera is a curved sensor but that would require much more investment than just using an off the shelf sensor. Sony has developed that technology but up till now no camera from Sony or some other camera company uses it. That technology would need specifically designed lenses (which could be smaller and lighter as they don't need to be corrected for spherical aberration) but would promise no light fall off and even resolution across the entire field. I guess it is much cheaper to add some digital functions than to really make significant technological progress.
The x2d + 38V is a much better single camera / single lens travel option.
A bit heavier, a bit bulkier, and definitely more expensive - but still quite portable, and a much better image making tool.

The V was also bacordered for months. But it only had a 26MP sensor so IBIS was less important. The VI has 40MP.

Zero interest in the Fuji camera.

I would probably buy a Leica Q 43 if I wanted this type of camera to be honest.
I thought the idea of the camera was quite good, but I think it is let down by the lack of IBIS and / or a faster lens. It has some nice features, such as the aspect ration selection dial, but also still seems a bit bigger than what I was expecting. Ultimately, for me, I can just put the 28mm P lens onto my 907x/100c and get something very similar, or attach the faster 38v (which is a bit bulkier, but still relatively compact). I think it would be great to have something weather sealed, but as others have said, would probably buy a Leica Q3 in that case.

In the film days, it was a huge market! Rolleiflex (and all other TLR variations), Plaubel Makina 67 / 67W, Fuji 670, Fuji GW690 (aka Texas Leica), etc.

I find the idea very interesting! I had an X100s which I loved and used for several years until my wife put her hands on it, then it disappeared :D (and is now 'kaput', unfortunately.) The GFX goes in the same direction.
However,
1) no IBIS in 2025, and with a 100 MP sensor...
2) Apart from the somewhat larger size, the X2D does all the GFX100RF does and more
3) I do not have infinite funds, I would get more from spending that money in a new lens for the X2D
For these reasons, I will pass on the Fuji. I will definitely have look at it in a store, though (I know, this can be a dangerous game ;) !) Still debating buying an X100vi or a Ricoh GR IIIx or its successor - if one is ever released.
I would quite like this camera – I would be very happy with only using a 35mm f/4 if it is on a par with my 45P or 28P (the latter not as good as the former) – but I wouldn't want to give up the Hasselblad colour or the elegant and simple user interface.
Sean Reid just released a favorable review. Any increase of interest?
It is indeed a strange comparison to Hasselblad, the competition here Leica Q3..
We may be close to a 1camera1lens setup. The Q3, now the GFX100RF can be fairly close to fulfilling street photography demands. For landscapes, if we can get to a coverage of 24-90mm and resulting detail no less than a 24mp file post crop, then we may also be there. Perhaps the next generation of 150mp sensors will get us there.
More megapixels instead of focal length?
Really, that's the future? No thanks, I'd be out of it.
In a recent trip through Morocco with a group, we typically are on foot for 3-5hrs stints. Carrying X2D, 20-75/45/90, just to have anticipated focal length coverage, and the sore neck and shoulders every evening back in hotel, does put a damper on.
Certainly the zoom is weighty and taking a 21 instead would make a minor difference but with lens design and glass technology these days (cost of aspheric elements, the Chinese manufacturers like Viltrox with their highly reviewed Lab series), indicates the 1 lens is possible for focal range coverage when coupled with a high resolution sensor to have minimal loss when cropping.
