Title: Firewire 400 to USB or Thunderbolt or ...?
Post by: nevjam on January 17, 2017, 05:59:59 AM
Hi, I have a 384 multishot and want to continue using it with my i7 iMac, which has no FW ports. Is there a hub or connection adapter available?

Many thanks, Neville.

You will need the thunderbolt to firewire adapter from Apple. That adapter is FW800, so you may also need a 400 to 800 FW cable.

I have used a 384 with an iMac using this method and it worked perfectly.

The back has not been used for a few years and the sensor now has a mottled appearance. Hasselblad UK no longer support these brilliant backs and I can't find any web reference to B23 Denmark their suggested service agent. Any hints for a DIY cleaning process or do I now own a new paperweight?

It's more than likely told under the IR cover in which case it needs to be done by B23:

The site seems to be down at the moment though...

EDIT Site is back up, just a glitch, I got a nice email from Jimmy the owner.
