X1D/X2D Cameras / XD2 Strap - Alternatives?
Last post by pb - Today at 08:05:37 AM
Good evening all,

I am finding the strap that comes with the camera quite fiddly. Has anyone found a non-Hasselblad strap that seamlessly works with the camera?

Many thanks.

Kind regards,

Paul

The FE lenses do not have a leaf shutter, so the simple answer is no.

The term "auxilliary shutter" came to my mind, since I believe remembering that this shutter (right in front of the film mag) can be used in certain situations (microscopy?). But I found no info on this, and in any way, usability would be drastically limited.

I wonder if it might work with the electronic shutter of an CFV 50II/100c.

Is the Hasselblad Carl Zeiss Tele-Tessar 350mm f/4 FE T* compatible with the 500CM body?

Wish List / Re: 35P lens
Last post by polychloros - Today at 01:11:57 AM
Quote from: polychloros on March 09, 2024, 09:48:39 PMAn XCD 35mm F4 (or even F5.6 if it meant even better optical quality) would be something I would buy. The 28P is a bit wide for my taste and seems optically compromised more than other lenses in the XCD range.

Responding to my own post from March, I've been using the 28P for a couple of weeks now and think I was wrong on both counts. I actually find the wide view quite satisfying for the casual landscapes I like to take (at least the ones not involving mountains and other views with more distant subjects) and, optically, the lens is excellent. There is a certain amount of focus shift with this lens but, once aware of that, you can allow for that when composing and focussing a photograph. I no longer want a 35P. :D

Examples with 907x CFV II 50C

That's correct. Wifi is only used with Phocus on your mobile device. For a desktop you need to use the USB-C cable. Mine is a data (Thunderbolt 4) 10Gbps speed rated and it is FAST

I was going to ask the moderator to give some direction on how to manage resolution of conflicting points of view, and how to judge merits of posts on forum.

Seeing this post, I searched emails, and found two most recent from Hubbell to be in Junk emails...and therefore missed responding...

I purchased the Flexbody to use with my CFV 50c.  I never used the film option.  I stated that clearly. I bought it with camera body, correction slides, and focusing screen, but never used them.  The Flexbody is like a mini view camera, and when used with the CFV back, allows easy live view, ability to use a range of V lenses, ability to place plane of focus, and option to use the leaf shutter in the lens instead of electronic shutter.

In order to bring this to a resolution, I will refund the full purchase price upon return:  fully functioning Flexbody, correction slides, and focusing screen in original boxes, Hasselblad Pro shade and adaptor, cable release, and cable for connection of CFV back to V lenses.

I could add more, but will pass.  I have not changed by business practices: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/feedback/181427
