Title: 100mm 2.2 lens
Post by: oliverd on May 14, 2009, 01:22:06 AM
I just purchased a new 100mm 2.2 lens. It seems very sharp and the focus is accurated. I noticed however, with this lens, a reflection like horizontal line accross the frame in the prisim about 1/3 of the way down from the top of the frame in the viewfiender. I have not seen this  with any other lens. It does not affect picture quality at all.  I wonder if it is because this lens lets in more light and causes some internal prisim reflections.  I wondered whether anyone else has noticed this with this lens. I have a H3d-39.

Same here, it is by far my most used lens. It might as well be welded onto the body. I see no such line.

I did several times on the end result (the image) which turned out to be a costly repair :(
