Currently out of stock but when something sells that well it usually is back in stock after a while. The dead cameras.com straps are also hand made leather, and he takes them to screw into the tripod socket, just using the Hasselblad lugs as security.

Blackrapid or Sun-sniper. The latter actually has a lock on the camera connector that prevents it from coming loose unintentionally. I particularly like using them to hold a long lens by the lens foot. Then I can swap out to a wide angle lens and leave the telephoto hanging for easy access.
But all of these introduce extra points of failure, and I don't trust them without a hand on the camera at all times.

How official is that? I've heard many rumors from inside sources that are all over the map. For every "the S is dead" there's a "the S4 is coming with all new lenses". I personally believe the former, but I'm curious what your source is.
