Title: help needed with error message on H5D 50c
Post by: AndyHook on March 18, 2017, 11:45:47 PM
Hello everyone,

I've been shooting tethered using Phocus software and H5D 50c body and occasionally the camera stops functioning (shutter will not fire). It happened twice yesterday (in 8 hours) and once the day before. The display on the camera says 'the exposure is not possible' and to 'check magazine' To clear the fault I turn off the camera and reattach the sensor unit. Anyone experience anything similar? I will send it in to Hasselblad next week but was interested to see if anyone have had similar?

Thanks
Andy

Andy it would be worth checking that the contacts between camera and back are clean and un damaged.

cheers Nick,

I was down at the Photography show today and had a chat on the hasselblad stand. One of the techs Stuart, said the same. Wipe the contacts on the digital back with some sensor cleaner.

Will give it a go tomorrow!

Thanks
