Title: Phocus showing Padlock on images???
Post by: maxshafiq on September 20, 2017, 04:01:03 PM
Hi,
I am launching Phocus/Mac OS X (latest version 3.1.5) and when I go to an external drive where I have the images all saved as .fff, the images when browsed in Phocus all appear with a Padlock. What does the Padlock mean and how can I remove this icon?

Thx
Max

I don't think I've ever seen that but I would suspect a permissions issue, try copying a FFF to another drive to test. Might be worth repairing permissions from disk utility.

Interestingly it was a permission issue.

All I had done was take an entire folder from a iMac and copied it over to an external drive. When I try and view it through Phocus it shows one of the icons to be a padlock. When I move it back onto a iMac it gives me no issues. Interestingly in the Phocus manual there is no mention of a padlock icon!

Thanks Nick for pointing me in the right direction.
