Title: Canon speedlite with H4D via radio transmitter?
Post by: TommyRustad on January 28, 2017, 10:42:43 AM
Hello  :)

I use Canon cameras with speedlite radio transmitter, and I have recently got hold of a H4D-31, and I was wondering if it is possible to buy a Hasselblad radio transmitter (or a third party radio transmitter) to operate, in any way, my canon speedlites from my Hasselblad camera?

Yes in short. But not dedicated Canon ones, and Speedlite will be manual only. Pocket Wizards would fit the bill.

Hi Tommy,

I am assuming you are using the Canon's Speedlite 600EX-RT and 430EX III-RT, which are the only 2 I know of utilising radio transmission.  If that is the case, why not use its own property transmitter the Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter for best results.

Cheers,

Thank you very much, both to James Rudd and Hassilistic. The speedlite transmitter works great on the Hasselblad camera, I am glad to say.
