Title: Hasselblad X2D battery Case
Post by: Michael Erlewine on April 27, 2024, 01:40:11 PM
Can anyone provide a link to a brand and product, a carrying case for the longish Hasselblad X2D batteries, preferably one that will hold 3 batteries.... a pouch of some kind.

Thanks.

That link does not seem to work. Perhaps the name and brand would be something I can find.

Sorry. This is the recommended one from that forum. The video shows 4 Hasselblad batteries in it. I have it for my DSLR batteries. Takes 4. It will take Hasselblad batteries if you remove the rubber cap. I find it tight and worry about damaging the thin rubber seal on the battery. I went and bought the 2 battery version but it's actually smaller and won't close with the Hasselblad batteries.

Thanks much. Let me be clear, there are two versions and the first works for the X2D batteries, but the secend does not. Where does one find the first...is that link it? And does that work to your satisfaction? Appreciate the help.

I don't understand your question. There is just ONE Think Tank that takes 4 batteries. I am not aware of another version. Do you have a link?

The ThinkTank holders I've used for the last 2 years are the Pro DSLR Battery Holder. They will take two Hasselblad batteries with rubber caps. Their distinguishing feature is they have separate flaps to hold each battery in place. They may be discontinued since many sources say unavailable or out of stock.
Search YouTube for "camera battery holders - think tank" it's the first video listed. Also search google images for the Pro holder, it may give more hits than google.

Bob.

Please note that all 8 Hasselblad mirrorless cameras use the same interchangeable form factor batteries, the 2 X1D models the X1D2, the X2D, the 4 907X models.

I simply use the original cardboard packaging, after removing the internal cardboard holder, 2 batteries fit exactly in one box.

So if for example you buy 3 batteries and you have boxes for 6. The cardboard can be varnished to reinforce it, so i lasts longer.

I found and bought a thicker and larger product that I bought from Ali.

It fits well with the x battery. 8)
