Title: Can digitize slides using H camera?
Post by: fsprow on September 30, 2017, 06:54:24 AM
I'm now using a Nikon 9000ED to scan slides or negatives from my V or H6D-100c with film back.  It works great but is sure not fast!

Is there a way to use my H6D to digitize slides (120 or 35mm)? Copy stand, what lens to use etc.?

Thanks very much,
Frank

I have done this and it works well. Ideal lens would be the 120 Macro. A decent tripod and fire the camera remotely. I created black card masks to frame the slides was pretty happy with the results.

Can anybody upload any "set up" photo to show whatever involved? Thanks.
PS: I have loads of negs and slides I would like to copy.
