Title: How to check depth of field with X2D?
Post by: persab on December 22, 2023, 07:05:19 AM
I'd like to be able to check depth of field on the CCD (or in the view finder), is that possible?
Since all other cameras I've used allows this I suppose (hope) I just missed something, did I?
At least in manual mode it seems logical to be able to do that, yet I cant figure out how...

On my X1D I simply push the depth of field preview button

Isn't it the same on the X2D?

On the X2D, this button toggles MF/AF. But you can assign the DOF preview via the custom button function.

Have assigned DOF preview to the MF button but when I press it it seems to stop down only for a second or less. Clearly I'm doing something wrong but I do't know what. Any help much appreciated

Are you pressing and holding?  ( the preview is displayed as long the button is completely pressed down, and stopped once it is released )
