Title: Self-Timer Glitch
Post by: Michael H. Cothran on June 12, 2017, 02:19:48 AM
The ONLY glitch I have encountered in my X1D is with the self timer. Curious if anyone else is experiencing this? -

Selecting the self timer brings you to a window where you have a choice on three different settings - Activate, select # of seconds, and choose either to Exit or Stay after exposure.

It's this bottom one, Exit or Stay, which is where my glitch is. My touch screen does not work here. I can "touch," and the orange highlight blinks, but immediately turns off. There is a work-around which I've been using, which utilizes the menu buttons on the right side to manually scroll and select. I should be able to simply touch the screen on Exit to change it to Stay. Or vice versa.

Is this a problem with anyone else?

Hi Michael,
I have just checked and mine works as supposed, I can select either exit or stay just touching the screen and my selection is recorded.
