Title: upgrade?
Post by: sailronin on January 27, 2015, 04:08:29 AM

I'm considering moving from a V with P30 back to an H series system. For mostly landscape and still life work is the added cost of a H4d v H3dii good value to gain "True Focus"?
Thank you
Dave

In my experience with the H3Dii-50 and H4D-50, the focus on the H4D is more consistent (even when not using "true focus", which is not needed for landscapes). But if you are used to focus manually, that works equally well.

Yes I agree with Jerome, true focus is not really something that would benefit still life/landscape work.

Thank you for the input.  The H3dii series is getting pretty attractive price wise so good to know "True Focus" isn't a deal breaker.
Best regards,
