Title: Phocus 3.1.5 and network drives
Post by: hbfan on May 05, 2017, 06:04:28 AM
Just downloaded the most recent Phocus. I've never used it before so it could be I'm not doing something right. I'm using Windows 10 and a WD NAS drive. Problem #1: The file browser device list shows internal and external USB drives, but not the NAS. The NAS shows up just fine in Lightroom, Photoshop, etc. Problem #2: The file browser device list does show the word "Network", and if you right click you get an option to add a network device. But it just thinks about it for a few seconds, then brings up nothing. Left click on "Network" also does nothing. Current workaround is copy everything I need to the C drive first. Anybody have a better way? BTW, behavior is the same whether the NAS is wired or wireless.

I am on 3.1.3, also using a NAS and windows 10.
Did you map the NAS as a network drive? For me, that helped. As long as there is a connection (which is reestablished at logon), the NAS shows up under 'This PC'.

It's not a mapped drive. I'll map it and give that a shot tonight. Thanks very much!
