Title: Is Windows Vista ok for us photographers?
Post by: Eivind Røhne on November 26, 2008, 07:19:37 AM
Yeah, I know, this is one of the geeky boring non photo questions... Sorry...

I'm thinking about putting together a new pc, and was wondering if Windows Vista works well for us photographers with Flex/Phocus? I'm still on XP Pro SP3, and seem to remember that there were some color profiling and icc handling issues earlier...? Is this right or am I just getting old and senile? Anyone here using Vista with H'blads and Flex/Phocus (beta) and all the glorious fun of calibration, icc color profiles and so on...?

So, what should I go for on a new pc: XP Pro or Vista?

YES, you are getting old.

Man, that hurts........ Can I tempt you with a copy of my Windows 3.11 installation discs...? I could fax you the installation info as well.  ;D
