Title: X1D Review by Steve Huff
Post by: HBIEVP on September 27, 2017, 10:20:28 AM
To All,

I've watched and enjoyed this review of the X1D-50c by Steve Huff. I admit its favorable but what drives me to share it is, he does a great job at reviewing the practical applications of the camera system:

Quite thorough and enthusiastic review.
And, as an aside, I am saddend that he had to sell the Leica SL, his camera of the year 2015.

I read every review I could find before I finally decided to pull the trigger any buy the camera (and lens) 3 months ago.

Now, the only "review" that matters to me is my own experiences. So far, I'm finding that the more I use the camera the more I'm loving it. I have owned professional grade Cannon cameras for many many years, and the one thing they left me wanting more was dynamic range... especially when trying to do B&W work (both in the studio and outside the studio). The x1d is so far shaping up as the answer to that for me.

The Steve Huff Review reflects my experiences with the Hasselblad X1D after 6 months with the camera.

As Steve Huff extensively mentioned, people can be extremely vein!

On that note, I repeat my plea again, please make a matching BLACK waste level Viewfinder for H5D & H6D camera bodies.  It would be truly awesome if it was also upgraded with digital overlays projected onto the image via a reflection mirror or displayed any info or horizontal level.

Please know I'm not the only one thinking that!
Cheers
