Title: File number on H4D back
Post by: davidthescot on December 14, 2010, 06:15:52 AM
Hi

I have just acquired a used H4D-50 but the file numbers on the back are the in the same range as I have already used on my previous camera.  Does anyone know how to reset or manually change the file numbering on the back.  I know it can be done.

The intended way is not to mess with file numbers but to create a new "batch" for each new project. Read the manual on "batches".

Some time ago I downloaded a document describing a counter reset. I do not have a link to the original document, so I have included an attachment.
Be aware that the document is not recent. I do not know if this works on an H4 or newer camera.
