Title: Phocus with Guy Gowan actions...
Post by: hugenoot on November 01, 2017, 10:48:45 PM
Are there user of Phocus who combine it with Guy's iEQ Process actions in Photoshop? If so, are you using 16-bits Tiff of 16-bits PSD?

Action to enhance your images but without the use of sliders like you have with LR etc. Inside Phocus you only correct exposure and white balance and the action does it for you. I use it as a workflow with photoshop droplets...

I don't know if this helps but a PSD is really just a wrapper for a TIFF so there's no real difference.

In my workflow, Tiffs are never layered and are the files that will get delivered to the client. PSDs are layered and will almost never get delivered.

Thanks Nick, indeed there is no difference in file size, images colours or export speed. I'll give it a try in my workflow...
