Title: Imagebank 1 Changing harddisk to ssd
Post by: mse321 on November 17, 2013, 11:33:45 AM
Hello, I´m new at this board. Sorry for starting with a question: I bought a Imacon 528c for my Hasselblad 500 C/M with a ImangeBank. Everything is working, but the harddisk inside the bank is a Hitachi 40 GB from 2003 - remembering the number of harddisks lost within the last 10 ears, I´m a little bit afraid. So I like to replace it with a 64 GB SSD (IDE Type). Unfortunately it isn´t a simple file system like FAT32. I can´t get informations about this file system. Can anyone tell me how to change the disk?
Thank´s to all!

Hi Matthias
The short answer is yes :)

Obviously Hasselblad would recommend you do it yourself but I like to tinker with things
although I sometimes break them

A little update:
Changing the original 40 GB Hitachi HD to a SSD was not really successfull. Also with the comands format, init disk, repair the ssd cannot be read from flexcolor. Both SSD and Imagebank are working well, but not together..
But I like to probe the causes, and working on it. If I get the solution, I'll post it.
