Hi,

I don't use RRS ballhead, I'm using Arca Swiss products. But assuming that BH-55 is Arca Swiss compatible, then the BH1-L is perfect (I use one since 2017 on an H6D, no problem or weakness to report)

Dear Sylvain,

btw what is your setup?

I have 2 Arca Swiss ballheads, a P0 and a D4. I use some Quick links to disassemble quickly and switch between 3 tripods, all Gitzo, series 1, 3 and 5. Depending on the distance on which I have to carry all this, the conditions I expect (wind for example) and the lenses I want to use, I pick up a tripod, a ballhead, and that's it. The RRS L-plate works as expected on any of this combination, whatever the lens or head used.
