Title: X1DII fully baked video using HCNS
Post by: Alex on August 04, 2020, 02:42:02 AM
Hi,

Maybe a bit of an inconsequential question but;

With the processing and conversion of the video being done in-camera I was wondering if Hasselblad were implementing their HCNS colour technology in the image conversion (just as they are supposed to be doing with their onboard JPEGs)?

Thanks,

Alex

- Shoot a short video clip

- Shoot a picture of the same scene in the same conditions

- Compare

- Conclude

Looks pretty darn close to me

Compare between the video on X1D Mk1 & Mk2 - yes?
If there's similarity between the videos then one say they're not employing HCNS in the X1Dii video.
With the pictures on the X1Dii being clipped down to sRGB at conversion it's a bit difficult to tell what's been used in the processing.

I'll drop them a line and see what they have to say..

Cheers,

Alex
