Blackrapid or Sun-sniper. The latter actually has a lock on the camera connector that prevents it from coming loose unintentionally. I particularly like using them to hold a long lens by the lens foot. Then I can swap out to a wide angle lens and leave the telephoto hanging for easy access.
But all of these introduce extra points of failure, and I don't trust them without a hand on the camera at all times.

How official is that? I've heard many rumors from inside sources that are all over the map. For every "the S is dead" there's a "the S4 is coming with all new lenses". I personally believe the former, but I'm curious what your source is.
Quote from: o2mpx on May 18, 2024, 05:01:12 AMClearly there's no comparison in terms of build and user experience, but for practicality, many new buyers might opt for Fuji now?Not as far as I am concerned. Build, user experience and practicality are what attracted me in the HB system in the first place. Within my budget, I much prefer an X2d + 1-2 lenses (I have a 45P and 65) rather than a Fuji GFX with more lenses. GFX are certainly very capable tools, but I could not find any pleasure in using something as big, ugly, clunky and uninspiring. (You guessed- I shoot for fun, not for work.)
