Forget about the multi AF guys, just talked about it last friday in CPH  :'(   (Did you Try remote AF inPhocus -and FC- with H2/H3D's?)
But M.Up is in right now in Beta 21!! :D as well as Live Video

Don't want my Brain to be grilled when sending some 39 Mpix...

Antidust like Canon? you mean poking in the body without taking off the Back? ;D

Cheers, ElMa

another vote for long exposures, i'd happily settle for 5 minutes, but would prefer multiple hours.

Another vote to Multi Point Auto Focus. 45 points would be just about it.

A black body
A fixed firewire cable plug to avoid bad contact and repairs with a apple mag safe style connection in case of violent traction
A very light and flexible firewire cable. The anti granite cable
A  matted mirror, not a knocker
A button to lock the focus ring for vertical positions.
A hood attach system easy and reliable
A faster continuous shooting capture rate

We need a long battery, perhaps twice the height/capacity, for cold weather shooting. Yes, I know, it won't sit right on the table - but I don't carry a table when I'm shooting landscapes!

Hmm, or possibly a cable with proper connectors that would allow connecting a battery to the camera from inside your coat.

A Focal Plane Shutter model with sync to 1/300th and top shutter to 1/6000th.

A 4" LCD screen with the resolution of the LCD on the Nikon D3. I had the opportunity to look at the LCD on the D3 last week. It's just on a whole other level from the H3D and even the H3D II, and on a camera that costs 1/6 of the Hasselblad.

Second the black body, and lets remove all the reflective stuff off the camera front too please.

Live view on the camera back!

A second point of fixture on the side of the camera for bubble level etc

Totally agree on this score.

Really would have thought it was obvious and Hasselblad should have had it from the off.

Faster and smarter autofocus.
Shorter boot up time.
What about a fast wireless transmitter?

...an option to have the LCD on the camera show the current capture even if you're shooting tethered.  I often can't see the monitor - it's either out of my view or surrounded by gawkers looking at the screen.

I wonder if it can be done for H3DII?

And how about, if hasselblad is wedded to FW800... lets have a hasselblad lead that is light enough to be able to use the connections.

The available FW800 leads are all too heavy, bulky and over engineered for the laptop sockets and the camera.

The old Imacon connector did seem to marry the best of both worlds, light and strong....

ALl best

People either loved or hated the old Imacon connector, I loved it, but many complained that if it failed you couldn't easily get a replacement (I used to carry spares but what do I know).
As for wireless I don't think there's the necessary bandwidth yet even with Wimax, I suspect you'd get a suntan if you were standing between the camera and computer when it was transmitting..

Wireless only for the preview and the file being written to CF? I doubt any currently wireless technology being able to transmit large files rapidly enough. I would also love to have a connector as well as cable as the 'old' Ixpress backs. These were really well designed a difference of night and day between the current FW connections and cables.

Yes, I think those are the extra thick firewire cabls, so it should be compatible. I'm pretty sure Hugh likes the thick cables.

I want one of these then. I hate the cables, though. And the way they are plugged into ears... There has to be another way to transmit images.

I'd like to go beyond multi-point AF, to being able to set the focus point ANYWHERE on the screen, simply by shifting the AF point with the 4 arrows.
Same goes for Spot metering. I'd like to be able to shift the metering circle to ANYWHERE on the screen via the 4 arrows.
In this age, I don't think that's asking too much.

I tend to think we got exactly this with TF? At least I feel I can focus anyplace in the viewfinder with my H4D.

"True focus" is an improvement over the AF and AE locks that have been around for many years, but still requires one to recompose by moving the camera for one or the other. I'm talking about having the camera secured and locked down on a tripod to begin with, and then being able to focus or meter anywhere in the picture area, simply by moving a "cursor" on the LCD window. You can do this with a tethered Hassy in Phocus now. I'd like to see it on the LCD screen of the DB for use untethered in the field. Canon offers this technology, untethered, on at least some of their models.

You can't wish it for H4D. But maybe one day we'll have this feature.

Yes, as soon as we have live view on screen it should be possible. Which allegedly is difficult to do with CCD sensors.

Maybe Nick should rename this wishlist the H5D wishlist, or we could start a new thread :)

Wireless file transmitter from the back to the Mac, just like the TF-1 from Canon

or like the H6D - why can't this be an accessory, like the GIL?

I don't think I can! Go ahead ahead and start a new wishlist, I do know that Hasselblad look at these threads.

I have only one wish for h4d. To be able to adjust the ISO and white balance without taking my eyes off the viewfinder

Just wish one could custom calibrate the spirit level / virtual horizon for not just one orientation - it's a bit half baked.
