I may have purchased one of the last new Hasselblad XCD 21mm f/4 lenses in stock in the US before the lens was discontinued. I haven't used it since I bought it and need the funds for another purchase. Since the lens is new (1 shutter actuation), I'd sell it for the price I paid, $3,750. I'll cover shipping charges to CONUS but not PayPal fees. I can post photos if you need "proof of life". Let me know if you're interested.

It is not discontinued.

Which does not mean it´s discontinued. You can order it with a delivery time of 3-4 weeks.

If it's not in the store, how would you order it? A dealer might have surplus stock - unlikely as it seems. I'm only asking as I'm curious as to why you say it's not discontinued. I actually own this lens.

Well, what I said almost one year ago (https://www.hasselbladdigitalforum.com/index.php/topic,8710.15.html ) is still valid:
"B&H lists it as "No Longer Available" and some internet rumor sites say it´s discontinued.
But there is no statement from Hasselblad stating this and it´s still on their website:
https://www.hasselblad.com/x-system/lenses/xcd-4-21mm/
Here in Europe dealers say it´s on back order with some stating a delivery in 3-4 weeks."

As of today it´s still here:
https://www.hasselblad.com/x-system/lenses/xcd-4-21mm/

It is in the Hasselblad catalogue from January this year (page 32):
https://cdn.hasselblad.com/manuals/Hasselblad_Brochure/2.0.0/Hasselblad_Brochure_EN.pdf

There are still dealers offering it with a delivery time of 3-4 weeks, eg. here:
https://shop.kuecher.com/hasselblad-xcd-21mm-f-4-objektiv

So yes, it is a low volume item with a long delivery time, but "discontinued" it is not.

If you go to the Hasselblad.com site. It is still listed as an item. But if you then go to the store portion it is not listed for sale there

Yes, I said earlier post #5

So I took the first link for a dealer in my country from the Hasselblad website and of course I can order it there. Just that an item is not available at Hasselblads online store does not mean it is discontinued.
It is discontinued if Hasselblad says so, but they did not. That was what I meant to say.

Apparently XCD21 is discontinued. They will release XCD25 today.

Georg Kovalcik

"Apparently XCD21 is discontinued" is there any evidence for this (e.g. a statement by Hasselblad)?

Did they put any statement before? :) I didn't see any, they just removed products from store, like X1D II for ex.
