Power up / battery issue with 1dxII

Morning all,
If my 1dxII is left unused for about 24 hours the power on button does not start up camera (red light comes on but it does not power up).
If I simply pop the battery open and then back in it starts up fine, and then will happily be turned off and on every time whilst using, if left for a few hours, etc...but then leave for 24 hours and same issue.
It's camera not battery as I've checked with 3 different batteries.
Any suggestions for this before I contact Hasselblad?
I assume it might be a left over of camera getting too wet a few months back...although it has only just started doing this so might be unrelated.
