Try not to lose your lens cap

It is strange that Hasselblad designed such expensive front and rear caps for the newer lenses, looking to me more like luxury objects than functional designs

I think it is indicative of the direction Hasselblad is heading. I too wish the front and rear caps were of the type that comes with the pre-V XCD lens range. Good quality plastic is perfectly sufficient for the function of a lens cap and the new caps are needlessly expensive and heavy. I also wish the packaging of the cameras and lenses was a bit more utilitarian with fewer plastic films to peel off but that ship has long sailed.
