another tilt-shift question for X2d

When I used a fuji gfx system for a while I used a Pentax 645 35mm lens with a Kipon shift adaptor.
This combination worked well providing close to 8mm of comfortable shift  with sharp images before any corner issues appeared.

8mm is not of course enough for some (urban) architectural work etc but for rise and fall shifts in the landscape they are adequate.

Has anyone tried the kipon / fotodiox shift adpators with a non shift 645 lens on the X1d's?

Now I'm using the X1dII I still have the pentax 645 35mm lens so am thinking of getting the shift adaptor to see how well it works.
