Will a PM90 finder physically fit with a CFV II 50c ?  It looks like the finder may not clear the extended length of the digital back.

The PM90/PME90 prism finders work with both the CFV 50C and CFV II 50C. You can see how much clearance there is with the CFV 50C in the images linked here or here.

The clearance is one part, the optical fit is also very important.

Hasselblad made a specific prism type for each generation of screens. (to my knowledge there has been 4 different generations of screens).

When the prism type and screen generation don't match you have to find the exposure shift and dial in a permanent exposure or ISO correction to meter properly.

This procedure has nothing to do with the digital back and is also valid with film
