Hi all,

I recently purchased a used HM16-32 film back. All seemed well.

However, the first film I've put through it allowed 19 (rather than 16) exposures to be taken, with the last 7 shots all being overlapped, see attached pic.

I'm running an H3D, body firmware updated to latest, 80mm lens.

The camera body is set to auto wind on the film when inserting.

The first 12 exposures all came out perfect, perfect spacing, it's just those last 7 (in the place of 4) that are problematic.

Anyone seen this happen before? Do I need to get a refund on this thing?

Thanks very much for all your help.

Check out the notes in red heading, some details about the film 'advancing by 3 frames', wonder if thats a digital-contact and/or camera-film back setting-possibility?
The overlaping-may also be a indication of mechanical-gearing issues, ie the film not correctly advancing, with 'over-lapping-at-the-end', may suggest also, that your film back needs a service!!

Could try shooting another test-roll but without removing the film back from the body, if thats what occured, in the first roll
and caused the counter to do what it did, just a thought to consider in the process of illimination, before sending the back in for service.
