I am tempted to go for this one as it is offered at a very attractive price. The whole unit is in very much to mint condition.
There is not much available to read on internet except for some forum q and a. Does anyone here own this lens? Thanks.Regards.

Thanks. I intend to use it for landscapes and birds but birds may be too much for me because by the time i focused it might have flown away! What is your target subject matters? Please kindly point me to some images with this lens.

Hi Dicky,
You are not kidding ! I have three tripods and one of those a really heavy duty one was kept in garage and not used for years. Last week I thought about using it and guess what, It was all rusty and not worth using,it ended up being collected by metal recyclers.
I took my Benro for the walkabout to Saddleworth, it is somewhat "heavuduty" but I could see shakes and vibrations in viewfinder.
I like this lens but to keep it steady is a challenge. I will look for a better tripod but it has to be easily carried otherwise the tripod itself could become a challenge !
Regards.

Hi Bashir 8)

Its much more fun and less of a challenge to delegate, when heavy equipment is required on location shoots!
Perhaps a very keen, happy, smiley, really good + willing-assistant, may prove most helpful in lightening the load!

Always used the Manfrotto range of tripods + tri-heads and studio-support. Recommend the larger range of Manfrotto padded tripod bags, found them so very useful, as can just zip-open along the entire length of the bag and sling the tripod in c/w head attached.
Much more comfortable to carry by the hand-straps/or even worn across, with the wide Manfrotto tripod strap used/attached as a shoulder-strap, especially when lugging heavy-gear about for long periods of time!
Suggest if possible, its sometimes much easier, when using heavy-equipment, if you can take time to 'scout-the-locations' first, so you can plan what equipment is required for each shoot-location, always saves time + aching from carrying heavy-gear all over!

Using 5kg shot-weight-bags to stabilise our tripods + studio cine-stands/booms.
These are really well made + so very useful, as they do 3kg, 5kg and 10kg bags https://luxs.biz/products/luxs-5kg-filled-weight-bag-sand-bag-counter-balance?taxon_id=10

Wish you lots of fun shooting with your CF500

Best wishes  8)
