High ISO and Phocus

I have established 3200 as my highest working ISO.  I experimented with 6400, but only when a tripod was impossible, and am rarely pleased with the results.   I process the files in Lightroom, but I'm wondering if Phocus might be better to push ISO.  Anyone have an opinion about Phocus vs. Lightroom for high ISO?
