And when will this be made available to Android users please? We don't all use Apple products. Or, is that not a priority?

Phocus Mobile 2 is currently supported on iPad Air 2019 and iPad Pro 2nd and 3rd generation models.
There is no support for Android at this time. Though that can change in the future.

Phocus 2 mobile has not even been released for the iPhone, but HB is claiming portability as one major benefit of the X1D but I will not carry an iPad along in the field for remote shutter release!
Oh - and NO, I will not buy a technically dead simple cable release for 85 Euro either!!
Aside from the fact that one cannot call a release with a 70cm (or so) cable truly remote, haha!
