I've only been here a matter of days, but I was shocked exploring this site, no catfights, bickering, wasting time engaging in ugliness, and no ads around.  A nice restful place.

You have real live legitimate shooters on here who're too busy bringing their dreams/ideas into reality to waste time arguing/trolling, that's very refreshing.


You're getting plenty of advice, one way or the other, so more in the vein of giving my 2 cents, it sounds like you might find a part time monk around here who could take the weight off you/free up your time, whose willing to continue on promoting such a peaceful place, a captain to steer your ship in a direction that brings a lot of satisfaction to many other people if that's a viable alternative..


I started something like this years ago, I still keep up the site, but never had the time to actively promote it, so folks stop showing up, just didn't have the time or the energy and at 75 I have to pick my spots.

I was proud of the fact that while folks were participating on my site, there wasn't any craziness or ads, so I hope this can continue on here, but I also get the impression that you've been at this for years, and so you've got to do what's best for you.

Hey thanks for the kind words!

People do occasionally message about the "onerous" requirements to be a member but I believe the fact that I check every single new applicant means we have a community of polite and knowledge sharing people, I aim to keep it that way.
