Guys
Will AF still work with the HC300 + 1.7 TC on my H6D100c

Hi Neil,

Yes the AF works when attached to the Converter H 1.7X.  And you've got yourself a glorious 510mm lens combination to play with.

Don't forget to compensate for the lost light transmission of -1.5 stops, although the TTL metering system takes care of that automatically for you for any general type of stuff.

510 or 320. My calculation with the crop factor is 321mm

In the manual, Hasselblad specifically states:
Please also note that the AF function of the HC Macro 120mm and the HC 300mm is disabled when used in conjunction with this item.

Perhaps it is best to try before you buy?

Correct, but he is not asking about the HC Macro, it is the Extender he is concerned with HC1.7x.

If it was a 2x instead of a 1.7x then it would have been 600mm.  Perhaps you are referring to the equivalent 135mm length.

What is this 135mm of which you speak? ;)

My initial question was will my H6D100c have AF when using a HC300mm coupled with a 1.7 TC ........ I've since learnt that it won't.
I'm cool now

As for 135 equivalent FL. It's a 321mm on my H6D100c

Oh my bad I see what Miller meant.  The HC120mm Macro & the HC300mm the AF will be disabled but not on the rest of the lens range.  Sorry about that as I was basing it on my experience with the HC1.7X with other lenses as I do not own those two.

Cheers
