45mm f/3.5 XCD vs 50mm f/3.5 HC Ver 2?

How does Ver 2 50nn f/3.5 HC lens compare to the 45mm f/3.5 XCD lens when used on X1D? I do a lot of stitched panoramic images and I am concerned about excessive vignette with the 45mm lens.

1. It's real easy to check their respective MTF charts, although I doubt if you'll see much difference in their actual performance. The XCD charts are hard to beat.

2. I'm more curious as to where you're finding the "excessive vignette" with the 45? I see no visible vignetting with my 45, and have used it for pano stitching in PS with no problems.
