Problem with the rear buttons.

After a time of use, the five rear buttons will stop working. It's like turning on some kind of lock function. The only way to make them work again is to turn off the camera and turn it on again. Is this a known firmware issue or should I submit it for service? I have the latest firmware installed. Anyone with similar problem?

I don't have such issue, and my X1D works perfect. Maybe yours is something wrong with the hardware. Sincerely, I suggest you to send the camera for service.
