Square Mode and XPan-Mode

Recently I read a "Field Test" of the Hasselblad X1D at imaging-resource.com, dated 25.08.2017. The author stated that "inside the electronic viewfinder is a 2.36-megapixel XGA screen that displays all the necessary shooting information as well as the capture area when set to shoot in 39MP square format or XPan panoramic image modes".

I have installed the latest firmware but could not find this Square-Mode or XPan-Mode. Anyone can help?
