Techart TCX-01 EOS Lens Adapter

I have an x2d with firmware 2.0 and the Techart TCX 1 with FW 7.0.
I only have a TS 24 3.5 II, so I can't test autofocus.
But I keep getting error code 43 "ibis not ready".

Battery removed for more than 10 seconds; connect the adapter to the lens and then attach it to the camera.

Is there a solution to this error

I got that error a lot too.  It can be worked around, by either manually enabling the electronic shutter (which I think, from memory, was the work around), or disabling IBIS

Yes, the EOS lens adapter definitely comes with some compromises, and certainly for myself (given the single lens I have that it "works" with), has very limited value
