The error message "Failed to write RAW data in file" has all of a sudden popped up during a shoot.

We can now no longer write files to our Mac (Yosemite). When we try again after restarting everything etc, it attempts to save but now Phocus crashes every time.

We had this problem last Friday 9th Sept 2015, and it was resolved by changing the computer. Now it has happened again and we suspect it may be a camera issue.

We have changed the firewire cable to a brand new one, firmware and Phocus are all up to date. We're struggling to find what the problem may be.

Anyone else had this issue?

Thanks!
Katie

A quick google search gives this: http://www.forums.camera-info.com/threads/phocus-eroor-message-during-tethered-cfv-capture.10263/.

Delete the file: ~/Library/Preferences/dk.hasselblad.phocus.plist

To do that with the finder, use the command "Go", "Go to folder..." and type "~/Library/Preferences" in the box.

You will lose whatever custom settings you have in Phocus.

Thanks for your reply! I have deleted the file but my settings are still present. Any other ideas?
Thanks very much!

Delete the file, empty the trash and reboot.
