1.7 lens converter

I have been offered one of the above and I would like to use it with my 50 and 150 lenses.

How good is the converter?

Would I be better off buying a CF lens adapter and using that with my V System 80 and 250 lenses?

I would appreciate your thoughts.

The answer is IMO, very good! I have been very surprised at the quality the convertor gives seeing as I was always taught that more glass=lower quality.

The converter is without doubt a gem. I never paired it with a 50mm lens, so no comment here. But as a combo with the 150 it works fine. If you throw the CF adapter into the mix you should know that there is a difference in rendering between Zeiss glass and H-System lenses. So in the end it will be a matter of personal taste....

I have never regretted buying the converter. I use it with the 80 and the 210.
Autofocus is not as snappy with the converter, but still very usable.
