CF Card type I and II usable in H5D backs?

Hi Forum Members,

I wonder if the same type of CF card slot being used in H4D series backs is still being used in H5D series backs, i.e. compatible for CF cards of type I and II. The data sheet doesn't mention anything about the CF card type (except UDMA.....).

The cards (typeII) will most likely work, the camera will be slow and will probably jam up.

Just don't pull the card out till the camera resets...

If there is a type II slot then an Eye-Fi card in a SD-to-CF card adapter (which only fits the type II slot) could be used in the back. The Eye-Fi card is configured as an adhoc network which would allow to send the JPG to an e.g. iPad when the setup is used out in the field even without any other wifi network. Just a thought.

If you want the camera H5D to work well , shoot raw use Phocus and UDMA 7 CF cards.
