ISO 800 on a H5D-200MS, not really usable

Ok let me start of admitting my own stupidity. I forgot to take my tripod when going on holiday. Thank you  :'(

So this left me with two options...
- Take no indoor pictures
- Go to DSLR level settings ISO

Here are two images. One is the total picture, the other one is zoomed in to 1:1
Auch, clearly way too much noise at 800 ISO to make the picture usable.

Have you tried the noise filter in Lightroom 4 or 5? You might be able to rescue them.

Sure Monthy,

I did that indeed (to a certain extend) and although the image is ok-ish, it will never be great.
Again this is not to complain or blame, just to demonstrate the sheer fact that ISO 800 (or even ISO 400 for that matter) has limited usage.

(Oh and did I alreadt mention that thou should never forget a tripod????)
