Thumbs labelled if file has been exported/modified.

And.....

Sharper previews at lower magnification! Hurrah.

Sharp or "just" sharper?
Thanks, Howard
P.S., how is the Highlight Recovery tool coming along?

What is your critiscism of Live View out of interest?  Also which product are you using?

Normally we have very enthusiastic feedback on the Live View in Phocus.

David:
What will the additional layers contain that you will be able to export as PSD files? Image files(e.g., for exposure or focus bracketing)?
That reminds me, are "stacks" on the agenda?

Color preview - would slow down the refresh I am afraid.  Why do you need colour?  What purpose does it serve?

Burned out areas - LV works best in low light, so (if possible) reduce modeling lights to a minimum.

The idea is that you could do your exposure / focus brackets and then export the whole lot as one ready PSD or TIF file, with layers, 8 or 16 bit.

Stacks?  A la Aperture?  Well you can do a very similar thing.  Any 3F file can have a number of adjustments stored in it, which can be recalled at any time.  There is no limit to the number of different adjustments that can be applied.

Stacks as in Aperture (and I believe Lightroom) allow you to group a set of files together in a stack in the Browser area. This is a useful way of grouping files that are bracketed for exposure or focus. Now, in Phocus, I have  to keep physical notes of the file numbers of the files that are brackets of each other.
