Where can I get the new Hasselblad Angled Firewire cable?

You can now order these cables from your HB dealer. Black ones for the H5 and Grey ones for the H4. Expensive but sofar worth it.

I do not like the angled cable when I shoot freehand. You can not put the camera on a flat surface. For tripod is it fine, of course.

Yes, that is true. It is kind of akward, I put the body on its side now, gently.

It's almost angled the wrong way - I kinda wish it angled forward towards the mirror box where it could then be further secured at the neckstrap ring and kept out of harms way

Why are different cabels necessary for the H4 and H5 (grey and black)?

The black one is for the H5D and it's a little to big (a few mm) to put into the H3D...
If you put the grey one in the H5D then you have to turn him upwards ! because the firewireconnection is turned 180° in the back. :-\
So if you want the angled cable to go downwards, you need the grey one for the H3D and a black one for the H5D.

If I get this cable will it work on my H3D39 + PC laptop which only has USB3?
