Hi,

:-[ my macpro needs 13 seconds to export a h3dII-39 file to a 16bit tiff file, which I think is already way too long,
but when I turn on the moire reduction to the highest, it takes even 52 seconds!!

Do I have a wrong or bad configuration??

best, Martin

Just did a quick test on my Imac27 with 8G mem and got 15 sec and 80 sec. Never really worried about it as I am usually doing something else. Now I am thinking I need to tune something. Regards Martin

Just did the test here.
Macpro 3,1 - 16GBRAM - OS 10.6.8
H3DII-39
exporting times: tiff-16 = 12sec
                        tiff-16 + 100% moirĂ© filter = 39sec

Exporting H3D-ll 31 file to TIFF 16: 5,9 sec

Mac pro 2x2.26 quad core and 24 GB 1066 MHZ RAM

So it looks hardware could make a difference

hmm, do you think that phocus is capable of using your 8 cores ?
I work on a macpro 6core 3,33Ghz with 16 GB ram.
So phocus is eating RAM or the grafics card is the point!

It takes my MacPro between 10 and 16 seconds to process a H4D60 file to Tiff16. Would I be turning on moire reduction this will be more. Moire reduction is pretty intensive. (CF39 files are done within appr. 4 seconds).

My machine, MacPro 12-core 2.93, ATI5770 & 48GB Ram.

wow thats fast ALOT faster!
ok the activity monitor shows it, focus uses all cores, so 6core six cores
I think I have to get some more RAM!

guess how many images have been exportet :D
